There are some ways you'll do to manage Windows devices remotely, this is often especially helpful in times of pandemic like this. But unfortunately, most of them require an immediate connection.
For example, if a user wants to put in or update software remotely, the user will typically use PowerShell and a touch help from the package manager. this is often not a drag , if the manager device and PC device are on an equivalent network. Or if the user features a device connected to the company network via a VPN that has been configured for remote management.
However, since 2020 many companies have selected the Work from Home policy, those that aren't within the same network will have difficulty managing their tasks. it's going to be possible to form custom arrangements or network yourself for it. this may be okay for little companies, but are going to be a replacement problem for large-scale companies.
At the last Ignite 2020 event, Microsoft released the Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM). MEM may be a new brand for Microsoft's enterprise configuration system products. the thought is to bring Intune, a Microsoft Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, also as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) under the umbrella of one product name so as to assure users that Microsoft won't discontinue support for SCCM.
This step also allows organizations that have SCCM to co-manage their Windows Endpoints using Intune via the cloud service on MEM without requiring additional licenses.
Not only are licensing and branding issues simplified, but Microsoft also plans to integrate the administration experience from Intune and MECM. In early 2020, Microsoft added cloud intelligence to variety of PC management features to require advantage of knowledge and intelligence collected from the cloud. and therefore the integration between Intune and MECM is getting closer and closer with each new release.
So Microsoft Intune or the MDM service are often a reliable reference for remote management, if a user is trying to find an Endpoint management solution and doesn't have the merchandise they have .
