Google Asks Chromium Developers To Stop Using Windows 7

Microsoft has made it clear that support for Windows 7 will end soon, and that they are currently focused on directing all users to right away switch to Windows 10, Microsoft's newest OS which already features a market share of quite 50 percent.

Eleven months after Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7, Google also finally asked Chromium developers to prevent using the OS , because it not received support from either Microsoft or the open source software community itself.

In its new policy, Google confirmed that Windows 7 can not be wont to create Chromium apps and Windows 10 is now what's needed. Since Windows 7 is not any longer a supported OS , error messages will appear when developers attempt to build Chromium applications using that OS .

It should be noted that this announcement is meant for developers only, and therefore the Chromium browser can still be used as was common on Windows 7, as has also been officially confirmed by Google.

Repair assistance for the developer community are going to be welcome, but thus far , nobody has volunteered to feature support to Windows 7.Developers who are still performing on their Chromium app development project are required to upgrade to Windows 10.Or can try an app like Process Explorer for detected a drag within the Chromium application close to be created using Windows 7.

Developers at Google have long ago stopped using Windows 7 to create Chrome, but it isn't clear when Chromium will actually end support for other, older platforms.
